Gemigliptin/Metformin HCl is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
As initial therapy for treatment naïve patients with inadequate glycemic control by diet and exercise alone.
In patients with inadequate glycemic control with the maximal tolerated dose of metformin alone.
In combination with sulfonylurea in patients inadequately controlled on their maximal tolerated dose of metformin and a sulfonylurea.
In combination with insulin in patients with inadequate glycemic control with insulin monotherapy or insulin/metformin dual therapy.
In patients already receiving an identical combination of gemigliptin and metformin as separate tablets.
